Welcome to the website and services of GOLDEN EMPIRE TOURS. By contracting our services, making a reservation, or using our platform, you expressly accept these Terms and Conditions. We highly recommend reading this document carefully before proceeding with your travel request.
1. General Company Information
GOLDEN EMPIRE TOURS is a formally constituted Travel and Tourism Agency, with its headquarters and direct operations based in the city of Cusco, Peru. Our management is led by Lic. Maria Violeta Dueñas Pareja as Manager, providing professional services to both domestic and foreign visitors.
2. Service Philosophy and Participative Tourism
Our services are distinguished by an innovative, sustainable approach rooted in profound respect for the natural ecosystems and native inhabitants of the Andean and Amazonian biosphere. By traveling with us, the user acknowledges and participates in the following core pillars:
- Participative Tourism: We promote harmonious interaction with indigenous populations, sharing their traditions and respecting their cultural identity.
- Sustainable Development: We support the creation and execution of projects structured specifically for the positive development of communities and the preservation of their cultural heritage.
- Environmental Conservation: All our routes and activities are carried out under strict standards of care, minimizing environmental impact in protected areas and natural settings.
3. Reservation and Payment Process
For contracting and ensuring the availability of our tour circuits, the following conditions apply:
- All reservations must be requested formally through our official channels (email, website, or WhatsApp).
- A reservation will only be considered confirmed once the company validates the corresponding deposit payment and issues a service confirmation or final itinerary.
- It is the client’s responsibility to provide true and accurate information (full names, passport/DNI numbers, travel dates, and specific requirements) at the time of sending the request.
4. Modifications and Cancellations by the Client
Any modification or cancellation of the contracted services is governed by the following guidelines:
- Requests to modify itineraries or dates are subject to the availability of local providers (hotels, trains, transportation, and admission tickets to archaeological sites) and may incur additional costs.
- Cancellation penalties vary depending on how far in advance the cancellation is reported and the specific policies of the third-party operators involved in the tour package.
- Certain services, such as entrance tickets to high-demand attractions regulated by the Peruvian State, are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances due to current government regulations.
5. Responsibilities of the Agency
GOLDEN EMPIRE TOURS commits to deploying all its expertise, training, and professional diligence for the proper development of the trip. However, the company is exempt from liability in the following scenarios:
- Events of force majeure or acts of God, such as strikes, roadblocks, extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, or government decisions that prevent the safe execution of the itinerary.
- Losses, accidents, or mishaps resulting from negligent actions by the user or failure to comply with instructions provided by our certified guides.
6. Obligations of the Traveler
To guarantee the safety of the group and mutual respect during the development of all activities, the client agrees to:
- Respect the customs, traditions, and internal regulations of the indigenous communities visited within the participative tourism programs.
- Strictly follow environmental conservation guidelines, completely prohibiting the extraction of flora, fauna, or archaeological artifacts, as well as littering outside authorized areas.
- Possess valid physical and legal documentation (DNI, passports, visas, or permits) required to travel within Peruvian territory.
7. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update, modify, or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time to adapt them to new legal regulations or improvements in our service operations. Updated versions will be available immediately on our digital platforms.
