At GOLDEN EMPIRE TOURS, we are firmly committed to the prevention and eradication of the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in the tourism sector, in strict compliance with Law No. 29408 (General Tourism Law) and Law No. 30802 in Peru.
In accordance with current regulations, the following mandatory guidelines are established:
- Absolute Rejection: The use of our tourism services, transportation, or logistics for any activity related to the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors is completely prohibited.
- Mandatory Identification: For minors traveling on any of our routes, it is essential to present a valid National Identity Document (DNI) or Passport, accompanied by the corresponding notarized or judicial authorization if not traveling with both parents.
- Duty to Report: Our team and professional guides are trained to identify risk situations and immediately notify the competent authorities (National Police of Peru and Public Ministry) of any suspicion of violation of a minor’s rights.
At GOLDEN EMPIRE TOURS, we promote responsible and safe tourism, rooted in profound respect for the integrity of ecosystems, indigenous communities, and the most vulnerable sectors of our society. The sexual exploitation of minors is a crime and is severely punished with imprisonment under the Peruvian Penal Code.
