ITINERARY.

DAY 1 LIMA- CUSCO(City tour)

Reception at the airport, assistance and transfer to hotel, in the afternoon visiting Cusco and the nearby ruins.

DAY 2 TOUR TO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS.

Depart Cusco at 9:00 a.m drive through the pisturesque Scared Valley visiting the artisan´s market of Pisaq, the archaeological complex of Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero.

DAY 3 MARAS - MORAY.

Depart Cusco at 8:30 a.m. We´ll arrive to the colonial village of Maras the main attraction is the Salt Mines which captivate sightseers and in particular photographers, then we visit Moray. It is a unique archaeological site formed by four slighlty elliptical agricultural terraces. It was an important center of Inca agricultural.

DAY 4 DAY OFF.

Free day.

DAY 5 CUSCO - Km 82 - WAYLLABAMBA.

Very early at 5:30 a.m depsrt Cusco to Km 82 (Piscacucho) in ouir private vehicle. We start our trek along the Urubamba river. We arrive to an archaeological remain Llactapata continue the trek until Wayllabamba (3000 m). We have our first campsite.

Distance: 12 Km /7.5 miles

Walking time 5 - 6 hours

DAY 6 WAYLLABAMBA- PACAYMAYU.

After breakfast follow with the hike. We´ll begin to climb through andean cloud forest and high puna to the highest point on our trek Warmiwañusca (4250 m) where there is a spectacular view of the valley below. Vilcanota and Vilcabamba ranges. We´ll arrive to Pacaymayu. Campsite.

Distance: 11 Km /6.8 miles

Walking time: 6 - 7 hours

DAY 7 PACAYMAYU - WIÑAYHUANA.

After breakfast we follow ancient stone paths to the well preserved Inca remains Runkurakay, we´ll descent to Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca important archaeological complex; we will spend our third and final night near the ruins of Wiñayhuayna.

Distance: 16 Km / 10 miles

Walking time: 8 hours

DAY 8 WIÑAYHUAYNA - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO.

Early in the morning leaving Wiñayhuayna, we descend gradually further through the highland jungle, we ´ll arrive to Inti Punku the Sun Gate to Machupicchu, from where a spectacular panoramic view of Machupicchu lies widely spread before our eyes. It is moment that will remain forever cherished and unforgotten, we´ll have a tour guide for 2 or 3 hours, free time to explore on our own. In the afternoon we ´ll board the return train to Cusco. Transfer to hotel.

Walking time 2 hours

DAY 9 FIESTA DEL SOL.

The tour start in Qoricancha, walk though the Loreto Inti K´ijllu until the main square. Transfer to Sacsayhuaman, in the afternoon return to Cusco. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 10 CUSCO - LIMA.

Transfer hotel airport two hours before.
